High-Speed Automated Inspection & Real-Time Hardware Rejection for Assembly Lines
Manual visual inspection on high-speed production lines is prone to operator fatigue, subjective quality thresholds, and missed defects that risk expensive batch recalls. In regulated sectors like pharmaceuticals, food & packaging, and electronics, a single misapplied label, compromised seal, or hairline flaw that slips through can trigger severe compliance penalties and customer returns. SVision solves this directly at the line edge. The system unites high-speed camera acquisition with deterministic edge detection software and a custom hardware reject controller. Running inline at production speeds, SVision verifies packaging integrity, validates printed labels, and commands physical pneumatic diverters to eject flawed units with zero throughput delay—while logging every inspection frame for continuous quality traceability.
Real-Time Anomaly Detection & Quality Control
SVision deploys custom inspection modules engineered to detect both macro and micro-level anomalies on fast-moving lines. From label orientation, print clarity, and barcode legibility to surface scratches, dimensional inaccuracies, and color variance, the software evaluates each unit in under 50 milliseconds. Operators receive instant PASS/FAIL visual feedback, live batch yield metrics, and a rolling defect strip to detect line drift before batches fail quality gates.
Low-Latency Hardware Synchronization & Actuator Rejection
Catching a defect in software is only half the battle—the physical reject mechanism must actuate at the exact millisecond the defective product crosses the sorter. We engineered a dedicated hardware companion, the SVision Reject Controller V2, built around an STM32 MCU core with optoisolated sensor inputs and rotary encoder tracking. The controller calculates conveyor velocity and line travel in real time, triggering pneumatic blow-offs or mechanical sorting arms with microsecond precision to guarantee zero-defect shipment.
